My heart is breaking!

My heart is breaking for our country and world! It's the heart of God! People might say, well, why does God let this happen! I don't know all the answers but He does say in the Bible that in the last days there will be plagues and other horrible things.
Are we as Christians just like other things, because God said it that we are suppose to not pray about it and take authority over it? Absolutely NOT!
